Indonesia dikenal sebagai salah satu negara dengan keanekaragaman hayati terbesar di dunia. Ribuan spesies
tumbuhan asli tumbuh subur di bumi Nusantara, menghadirkan keindahan yang patut dirayakan dan diwariskan. Melalui FLOII Botanical Art Competition 2025, kami mengundang para seniman, pecinta seni, dan pencinta alam untuk mengekspresikan kreativitas sekaligus mengabadikan kekayaan flora Indonesia dalam sebuah karya seni botani.​

Kompetisi ini hadir untuk merayakan kekayaan flora Indonesia melalui karya seni botani yang indah dan penuh makna. Dengan mengikuti kompetisi ini, bukan hanya berkompetisi untuk meraih penghargaan, tetapi juga turut menjaga, memperkenalkan, dan merayakan warisan flora Indonesia melalui seni.​

Sebanyak 20 karya terbaik akan dipamerkan selama penyelenggaraan FLOII Expo 2025.​

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Open to Indonesian citizens (WNI) and foreign nationals (WNA) residing in Indonesia.
  • Artists may submit an unlimited number of artworks, created within the last 5 years.
  • Registration fee: IDR 150,000 per artwork (proof of payment must be uploaded at registration).
  • Artwork file: scanned/photographed version resembling the original, minimum 300 dpi, maximum 5 MB.
  • File naming format: Artist name_Scientific Name of Plant (JPG/ TIF).
  • After selection, the top 20 artworks must be submitted in ready-to- display condition. xhibition requirements must be read and agreed upon via the registration form.

ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS:

  • Plant subject: Species/natural hybrids (both native and introduced) that grow in Indonesia, with the correct scientific name. Must depict flowers/inflorescences.
  • Maximum artwork size: A2 (42 × 59.4 cm).
  • Two-dimensional, any medium (watercolor, colored pencil, gouache, acrylic, oil, ink, graphite, mixed media, digital, etc.).
  • Must not have been previously entered into any competition.
  • Must be accompanied by a short narrative (max. 150 words) explaining the choice of subject, interesting facts, unique traits, benefits, or historical background of the plant.
  • Artwork must be original, created by the artist, and must not infringe upon the copyright of any party.

EXHIBITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • The top 20 selected artworks must be exhibited during FLOII Expo 2025 (23–26 October 2025).
  • Artworks may be sold; a 35% commission will apply to sold works.
  • Paper-based artworks must use a white passepartout and be framed with acrylic protection (not glass).
  • Artworks must be ready for display and delivered to the organizer in Jakarta no later than 18 October, 2025, in secure packaging.
  • Shipping costs are borne by the artist. The organizer provides a subsidy of IDR 50,000/artist for return shipping.
  • The organizer is not responsible for damage or loss during shipping or outside the exhibition period. Insurance for artworks is recommended.
  • By registering, artists grant permission for their works to be used for event publicity, educational materials, and the organizer’s website, with proper credit given to the artist.
