Javan cucumber is a vine or liana related to the pumpkin family, ππΆπ€πΆπ³π£πͺπ΅π’π€π¦π’π¦. The plant climb the trees up high to the branches of the canopy on the rainforest where they finally bear the large fruit containing hundred of seeds that is known as pepos. when it finally dried and open up, the seeds or Samara will detached and glide like butterflies. a curious way of seed dispersal due to their aerodynamic shape where it's able to stay balanced in the air and travels far away, ensuring a wide dispersal for the seeds to prevents competing from each other seed or both from the mother plant once the landed and grow.
